Survey 13 - "Do you have a designated smoking area in your workplace?"
Survey 13 looked at smoking at work. We asked 'Do you have a designated smoking area in your workplace?'
Results show that 70% of those that responded do NOT have a designated smoking area at work and only 30% do. This is not too surprising considering the hype on healthy living and the known health risks of smoking. So many more people are giving up to take on a healthier lifestyle and many offices have banned smoking from inside their buildings. Smokers tend to have to go outside and they are often left out in the cold to have their cigarettes. With such changes, maybe it is surprising to still find 30% of respondants having a designated smoking area in the workplace!
