Production Manager North Yorkshire Up to 40,000 plus Benefits
Our client is currently looking for a Production Manager to join their progressive team in North Yorkshire.
The post holder will manage and control process and production activities on site in order to ensure that products are manufactured according to the company’s standards and business needs. This is a key appointment and as such you will aim to deliver profitable growth and improved business performance whilst carrying out a number of tasks and responsibilities.
In this role, you will be expected to manage process or production plans and schedules in order to meet demand. It will be your responsibility to lead, manage, coach and develop individuals whilst translating site strategy into department objectives and implementing. Setting and managing the production budget will be one of your duties, as will the development of resource optimisation and improvement solutions and strategies. It is also important that you ensure compliance with company, customer and legal standards and build strong relationships with key-stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will possess operational and people management experience within the manufacturing environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a global mindset who aims to exceed expectations at all times. As an excellent people manager, you will have the ability to create direction and develop yourself and others.
