Our client is a significant and profitable manufacturing company operating in a dynamic, fast-moving and rapidly expanding sector. The company’s success is due to its ongoing investment in people, world-class assets and best practice manufacturing tools and techniques.
Leading, managing and motivating a multi-functional team of approximately 50, this role will have responsibility for delivering against demanding productivity, quality, cost and health & safety targets. A key focus of the role will be on driving production performance by improving process standardisation whilst coaching the team on an ongoing basis in the development and implementation of modern manufacturing techniques.
Candidates, ideally qualified to HNC/HND level or above in a relevant technical discipline, will have proven production management experience gained in a progressive, change-oriented continuous process environment. A sound understanding of the latest production management methodologies is essential for this role, and candidates must have a proven track record of managing change and delivering performance improvements through others.
