Project Manager, Product Designer, Product Developer Howden, North Humberside
The Project Manager, Product Designer and Product Developer are involved in all elements of NPD from concept to final product delivery. Supporting the NPD and R&D process and interfacing with external suppliers and internal manufacturing you will have the ability to translate and convert concepts into total product design solutions. You will be joining an exceptional company that offers an exciting future and great rewards. As part of our Product Technical team, you will contribute to the process of taking our innovative products and solutions to market.
These are broad ranging roles where your ability to adapt previous experience to our dynamic environment will be critical.
For all these roles, you must have significant experience of the technical aspect of product development, ideally in the furniture industry, or possibly in the aero, automotive, engineering or caravan sectors. Your background may include qualifications to degree or HND level and experience in a product design, manufacturing, engineering or technical design discipline.
You will have the skills required to develop and create technical information such as drawings, specifications, materials, master schedules and data structures for products.
You may have experience of manufacturing processes, solutions and techniques to underpin continuous improvement, value engineering and rapid introduction of new product development. Your previous tasks may have included supporting the development of a total packaging solution for all products or the Quality Standards and Legislative safety standards relating to product development and design.
You must have some project management experience and you must be an excellent communicator, able to liaise with designers, suppliers and manufacturers at all levels.
