Quality Engineer / Manager (Quality Auditor / Quality Assurance) Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire Circa 25,000 – 28,000
Our client is an Australian based group, quoted on the Australian stock exchange. With over 2,900 employees located throughout Australia, New Zealand, China and the UK, they are a leading manufacturing company within these areas.
The company are a manufacturer of wear resistant castings made of steel and iron. The casting operation produces parts that weigh up to 20 tons. These parts are used in the manufacture of grinding, crushing and shot-blasting equipment with the power, cement and general engineering markets.
They are currently seeking to recruit a Quality Engineer / Manager to strengthen their operations function at the UK sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The implementation, development and maintenance of the Quality systems. To ensure that the Quality systems are at auditing standards and have experience of auditing systems.
The following skills are essential for the post:
·Experience of a manufacturing environment ·Proven knowledge and understanding of integrated management systems and the standard ISO 9001:2000 ·Able to develop and maintain systems / standards ·Member of a recognised professional Quality Institute
You should be a self-starting individual, able to work alone or successfully contribute towards a busy team.
Located in Scunthorpe, this role is commutable from areas such as Grimsby, Kingston upon Hull, Doncaster, Beverley, Selby, Goole, Hatfield and Gainsborough.
