Job Title Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (FMCG)

Our client is a privately owned specialist cosmetics manufacturer employing over 10 engineers since it was established over 15 years ago. With constant growth year on year they are a very stable company with commitment to investment in capital machinery and training of staff. Supplying all types of cosmetics apart from bottles, jars, pots, sachets, sprays, , tubes, tubs, and vials this company are at the forefront of their niche market.
Role Description:
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and repair on electrical and mechanical machinery. This can include slicing, cutting and fast moving packaging machinery. You will be fault finding on pneumatics, rollers bearings, AC/DC motors. Electrical components will include single and 3 phase electrical fault finding. You will also be involved in installations of capital expenditure projects for new production lines
Required Experience:
Mechanical understanding
Ability to learn on the job
Hands-on engineer
Salary & Location:
Portsmouth - Fareham, Waterlooville, Bishopstoke
Benefits Package:
16K-18K plus overtime + pension + 20 days holiday
