Machine Operator / CNC Setter / Production Operative / Semi Skilled Engineer – Full Training Provided Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester (M4 Corridor) Salary 20,000 plus Bonus, Company Car, Mobile Phone and Other Excellent Benefits
Our client is a market leader in the development and manufacture of metalworking fluids. They build first class relationships with their customers, through the provision of a complete solution to their needs, delivered via superior technical sales and after sales support.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate currently working as a machine operator to join them as a Service Engineer. Our client will provide you with full and comprehensive training in order for you to undertake service visits covering all aspects of cutting fluid management in and around the South of England. All that they ask is that you can demonstrate strong previous experience within a production, engineering or manufacturing role.
While on service visits you will be required to complete cutting fluid checks and rectifications where appropriate and take samples of cutting fluid from machine stumps. You will liaise with customers at all levels and aim to complete service visits efficiently as requested, effectively planning your workload and maintaining good customer service relations throughout, however full training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
To be successful in this role you must have good literacy skills and have a basic knowledge of IT. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is conscientious and can portray a professional image of their company. A degree of flexibility will be required as some overnight stays may be necessary in the role and, although you will ideally be based in the Bristol area, they are looking for candidates with easy access to the M4 corridor. With this in mind a full UK driving licence is essential.
