Our client supplies a wide range of ingots, billets and barstock to casting and forging customers. Their metals find application in aerospace, defence, power generation, oil and gas, medical, petrochemical and other industries that use highly engineered castings in critical or technically advanced applications.
They currently have an opening for a Maintenance Manger at their Ecclesfield site in Sheffield.
The post holder will be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods. You will be expected to plan and schedule works whilst directing and supervising Maintenance Technicians and Fitters and diagnosing breakdown problems.
It will be your responsibility to ensure efficiency, development and progress of manufacturing / processing within the company and control any maintenance costs inline with the set budget. Reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns and developing strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes will also be a key requirement of the role.
Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a hands-on approach who is able to uphold and maintain systems and standards. You must be a team player with good communication and organisational skills. It is important that you are determined, quality orientated and disciplined with good analytical and numeracy abilities.
Located in Sheffield, this role is commutable from areas such as Rotherham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Macclesfield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
