| Job Description : | Fantastic opportunity to work for an FMCG leader as a Supply Chain Project Leader in their pack production plant managing and executing the introduction of initiatives and business transfers at contractors, from allocation of business to full qualification of the lines, supply chains set up and start of production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Lead the introduction of new initiatives at contractors, from developing the project scope and set up to the co-ordination of the process qualification. -Provide the input during the feasibility study, to make sure that contractors have a technical capability to deliver the project scope. -Lead cross functional project delivery team and ensure the team delivers against the defined success criteria. Work with R&D/TDO, QA, Technical Packaging and Category Planning to make sure that all necessary documentation for the project is available on time, and the contractor has been trained to execute what is outlined. -Coach and support the day to day work of planners working with same contractors. -Hold appropriate reviews with the contractor to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner. -For initiatives/business changes implemented, set up the optimised supply chain (including leadtimes, production frequency, safety stocks, etc) that meet the business need and deliver key business results (inventory, availability, quality, costs). Ensure that a signed and updated Contractor Operating Specification is in place. -Own supply chains at defined contractors.ÈLead specific loss elimination projects identified.ÈEnsure processes and practices are in compliance with Internal Control requirements.The successful individual will have experience of establishing detailed plans to launch new initiatives and resolve complex issues to keep projects on track and finding appropriate solutions to business issues in a third party manufacturing set up and take necessary actions. Proven experience in setting up and managing projects is important; and having the leadership skills to lead and co-ordinate a delivery team across internal functional boundaries as well as contractors and suppliers is essential. You will need to be a very focused individual able to manage a large variety of priorities and projects.È |
