JOB PURPOSE:
To manage and organise the shift to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved to meet customer delivery and quality targets. To coordinate the work of the Transport and Quality areas through the Matco Coordinator and the QC Team Leader
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
* Ensure that the shift works safely and within the site health and safety rules raising any issues observed with the individual or the department manager.
* Observe and promote all site policies and procedures.
* Adhere to all quality standards and proactively promote quality with an emphasis on getting a "Right First Time" approach.
* Manage the shift personnel for maximum efficiency with particular emphasis on:
- holidays
- absence
- breaks
- overtime
- skill levels/training
